I honestly never thought that doodling would be beneficial, especially for remembering information. I actually thought it was distracting. After reading the article I realized it would only make sense since instead of daydreaming or falling asleep you stay awake while doodling random things on a paper. I am a professional doodler, I'm usually drawing on the last pages of my notebook. I guess I now know that doodling while the teacher is talking is actually good.

Intelligence
It is the case that boys who are fitter, appear to have higher intelligence scores. However, this is because their cardiovascular health also appears to be better. Better fitness improves cognition which also influences brain plasticity. Because of this, boys are encouraged to stay active especially between the ages of 15 and 18 when their body is changing. Healthy cardiovascular function seems to have an enormous impact on brain function. Some experiments have been conducted between identical twins, and there seems to be a strong correlation between a healthy heart and intelligence.
Health
Pistachios have been found to increase the levels of Vitamin E in the body. Vitamin E is said to be good for the prevention of cancer. Not only do pistachios provide vitamin E, but they also lower the cholesterol level. An experiment was conducted where one group was given pistachios and the other was left as a control group. At the end, the group who had eaten pistachios had increased vitamin E. Every kind of nut is healthy, they all provide a special kind of vitamin E that has appeared to reduce cancer. A daily intake of pistachios is actually recommended, but of course in small portions.
Stress and Health

Honestly, who hasn't heard about this. The number one cause for our daily allergies, sickness is mostly STRESS. Stress releases cortisol, and cortisol reduces our immune system's response. When under stress, we tend to make unhealthy choices that in return weaken our immune system. We barely sleep, we eat that full container of ice cream and simply don't want to exercise, but rather remain as a couch potato. Our health then goes down the drain. The cure? Practice yoga, write a little, take time to view life in a positive way. DON'T STRESS.
